Praise ye the Lord, because psalm is good: to our God be joyful and comely praise.Alleluia.
The Lord buildeth up Jerusalem: he will gather together the dispersed of Israel.
Who healeth the broken of heart, and bindeth up their bruises.qui sanat contritos corde, et alligat contritiones eorum;Ὁ ἰώμενος τοὺς συντετριμμένους τὴν καρδίαν, καὶ δεσμεύων τὰ συντρίμματα αὐτῶν·
Who telleth the number of the stars: and calleth them all by their names.qui numerat multitudinem stellarum, et omnibus eis nomina vocat.Ὁ ἀριθμῶν πλήθη ἄστρων, καὶ πᾶσιν αὐτοῖς ὀνόματα καλῶν.
Great is our Lord, and great is his power: and of his wisdom there is no number.
The Lord lifteth up the meek, and bringeth the wicked down even to the ground.Suscipiens mansuetos Dominus; humilians autem peccatores usque ad terram.Ἀναλαμβάνων πρᾳεῖς ὁ Κύριος, ταπεινῶν δὲ ἁμαρτωλοὺς ἕως τῆς γῆς.
Sing ye to the Lord with praise: sing to our God upon the harp.Praecinite Domino in confessione; psallite Deo nostro in cithara.Ἐξάρξατε τῷ Κυρίῳ ἐν ἐξομολογήσει, ψάλατε τῷ Θεῷ ἡμῶν ἐν κιθάρᾳ·
Who covereth the heaven with clouds, and prepareth rain for the earth. Who maketh grass to grow on the mountains, and herbs for the service of men.Qui operit caelum nubibus, et parat terrae pluviam; qui producit in montibus foenum, et herbam servituti hominum;Τῷ περιβάλλοντι τὸν οὐρανὸν ἐν νεφέλαις, τῷ ἑτοιμάζοντι τῇ γῇ ὑετόν· τῷ ἐξανατέλλοντι ἐν ὄρεσι χόρτον, καὶ χλόην τῇ δουλείᾳ τῶν ἀνθρώπων·
Who giveth to beasts their food: and to the young ravens that call upon him.qui dat iumentis escam ipsorum, et pullis corvorum invocantibus eum.καὶ διδόντι τοῖς κτήνεσι τροφὴν αὐτῶν, καὶ τοῖς νεοσσοῖς τῶν κοράκων τοῖς ἐπικαλουμένοις αὐτόν.
He shall not delight in the strength of the horse: nor take pleasure in the legs of a man.Non in fortitudine equi voluntatem habebit, nec in tibiis viri beneplacitum erit ei.Οὐκ ἐν τῇ δυναστείᾳ τοῦ ἵππου θελήσει, οὐδὲ ἐν ταῖς κνήμαις τοῦ ἀνδρὸς εὐδοκεῖ.
The Lord taketh pleasure in them that fear him: and in them that hope in his mercy.Beneplacitum est Domino super timentes eum, et in eis qui sperant super misericordia eius.Εὐδοκεῖ Κύριος ἐν τοῖς φοβουμένοις αὐτὸν, καὶ ἐν πᾶσιν τοῖς ἐλπιζουσιν ἐπὶ τὸ ἔλεος αὐτοῦ.
