The Lord said to my Lord: Sit thou at my right hand: Until I make thy enemies thy footstool.Psalmus David. Dixit Dominus Domino meo: Sede a dextris meis, donec ponam inimicos tuos scabellum pedum tuorum.Ψαλμὸς τῷ Δαυίδ. Εἶπεν ὁ Κύριος τῷ Κυρίῳ μου, κάθου ἐκ δεξιῶν μου, ἕως ἂν θῶ τοὺς ἐχθρούς σου ὑποπόδιον τῶν ποδῶν σου.
The Lord will send forth the sceptre of thy power out of Sion: rule thou in the midst of thy enemies.Virgam virtutis tuae emittet Dominus ex Sion: dominare in medio inimicorum tuorum.Ῥάβδον δυνάμεως ἐξαποστελεῖ σοι Κύριος ἐκ Σιὼν, κατακυρίευε ἐν μέσῳ τῶν ἐχθρῶν σου.
With thee is the principality in the day of thy strength: in the brightness of the saints: from the womb before the day star I begot thee.Tecum principium in die virtutis tuae in splendoribus sanctorum: ex utero, ante luciferum, genui te.Μετὰ σοῦ ἡ ἀρχὴ ἐν ἡμέρᾳ τῆς δυνάμεώς σου, ἐν ταῖς λαμπρότησι τῶν ἁγίων σου· ἐκ γαστρὸς πρὸ Ἑωσφόρου ἐγέννησά σε.
The Lord hath sworn, and he will not repent: Thou art a priest for ever according to the order of Melchisedech.Iuravit Dominus, et non poenitebit eum: Tu es sacerdos in aeternum secundum ordinem Melchisedech.Ὤμοσε Κύριος καὶ οὐ μεταμεληθήσεται, σὺ ἱερεὺς εἰς τὸν αἰῶνα, κατὰ τὴν τάξιν Μελχισεδέκ.
The Lord at thy right hand hath broken kings in the day of his wrath.Dominus a dextris tuis; confregit in die irae suae reges.Κύριος ἐκ δεξιῶν σου συνέθλασεν ἐν ἡμέρᾳ ὀργῆς αὐτοῦ βασιλεῖς.
He shall judge among nations, he shall fill ruins: he shall crush the heads in the land of the many.Iudicabit in nationibus, implebit ruinas; conquassabit capita in terra multorum.Κρινεῖ ἐν τοῖς ἔθνεσι, πληρώσει πτώματα, συνθλάσει κεφαλὰς ἐπὶ γῆν πολλῶν.
He shall drink of the torrent in the way: therefore shall he lift up the head.De torrente in via bibet; propterea exaltabit caput.Ἐκ χειμάῤῥου ἐν ὁδῷ πίεται, διὰ τοῦτο ὑψώσει κεφαλήν.
