Douay-RheimsVulgata ClementinaSeptuagint (Sixtine edition, 1587)
1Unto the end, a psalm for David. How long, O Lord, wilt thou forget me unto the end? how long dost thou turn away thy face from me?In finem. Psalmus David. Usquequo, Domine, oblivisceris me in finem? usquequo avertis faciem tuam a me?Εἰς τὸ τέλος, ψαλμὸς τῷ Δαυίδ. Ἕως πότε Κύριε ἐπιλήσῃ μου, εἰς τέλος; ἕως πότε ἀποστρέψεις τὸ πρόσωπόν σου ἀπʼ ἐμοῦ;
2LXX 12:3How long shall I take counsels in my soul, sorrow in my heart all the day?quamdiu ponam consilia in anima mea; dolorem in corde meo per diem?Ἐπίβλεψον, εἰσάκουσόν μου, Κύριε ὁ Θεός μου· φώτισον τοὺς ὀφθαλμούς μου, μή ποτε ὑπνώσω εἰς θάνατον·
3How long shall my enemy be exalted over me?usquequo exaltabitur inimicus meus super me?—
4Consider, and hear me, O Lord my God. Enlighten my eyes that I never sleep in death:Respice, et exaudi me, Domine Deus meus.
5Lest at any time my enemy say: I have prevailed against him. They that trouble me will rejoice when I am moved:nequando dicat inimicus meus: Praevalui adversus eum. Qui tribulant me exsultabunt si motus fuero;Ἐγὼ δὲ ἐπὶ τῷ ἐλέει σου ἤλπισα· ἀγαλλιάσεται ἡ καρδία μου ἐν τῷ σωτηρίῳ σου.
6But I have trusted in thy mercy. My heart shall rejoice in thy salvation: I will sing to the Lord, who giveth me good things: yea I will sing to the name of the Lord the most high.ego autem in misericordia tua speravi. Exsultabit cor meum in salutari tuo.

Jesus laments over Jerusalem, which kills the prophets

The same day, there came some of the Pharisees, saying to him: Depart, and get thee hence, for Herod hath a mind to kill thee. And he said to them: Go and tell that fox, Behold, I cast out devils, and do cures today and…
