Revelation 15: Douay-Rheims and Vulgata Clementina
Douay-RheimsVulgata Clementina
1And I saw another sign in heaven, great and wonderful: seven angels having the seven last plagues. For in them is filled up the wrath of God.Et vidi aliud signum in caelo magnum et mirabile, angelos septem, habentes plagas septem novissimas: quoniam in illis consummata est ira Dei.
2And I saw as it were a sea of glass mingled with fire, and them that had overcome the beast, and his image, and the number of his name, standing on the sea of glass, having the harps of God:Et vidi tamquam mare vitreum mistum igne, et eos, qui vicerunt bestiam, et imaginem eius, et numerum nominis eius, stantes super mare vitreum, habentes citharas Dei:
3And singing the canticle of Moses, the servant of God, and the canticle of the Lamb, saying: Great and wonderful are thy works, O Lord God Almighty; just and true are thy ways, O King of ages.et cantantes canticum Moysi servi Dei, et canticum Agni, dicentes: Magna et mirabilia sunt opera tua, Domine Deus omnipotens: iustae et verae sunt viae tuae, Rex saeculorum.
4Who shall not fear thee, O Lord, and magnify thy name? For thou only art holy: for all nations shall come, and shall adore in thy sight, because thy judgments are manifest.Quis non timebit te, Domine, et magnificabit nomen tuum? quia solus pius es: quoniam omnes gentes venient, et adorabunt in conspectu tuo, quoniam iudicia tua manifesta sunt.
5And after these things I looked; and behold, the temple of the tabernacle of the testimony in heaven was opened:Et post haec vidi: et ecce apertum est templum tabernaculi testimonii in caelo,
6And the seven angels came out of the temple, having the seven plagues, clothed with clean and white linen, and girt about the breasts with golden girdles.et exierunt septem angeli habentes septem plagas de templo, vestiti lino mundo et candido, et praecincti circa pectora zonis aureis.
7And one of the four living creatures gave to the seven angels seven golden vials, full of the wrath of God, who liveth for ever and ever.Et unum de quatuor animalibus dedit septem angelis septem phialas aureas, plenas iracundiae Dei viventis in saecula saeculorum.
8And the temple was filled with smoke from the majesty of God, and from his power; and no man was able to enter into the temple, till the seven plagues of the seven angels were fulfilled.Et impletum est templum fumo a maiestate Dei, et de virtute eius: et nemo poterat introire in templum, donec consummarentur septem plagae septem angelorum.

Jesus laments over Jerusalem, which kills the prophets

The same day, there came some of the Pharisees, saying to him: Depart, and get thee hence, for Herod hath a mind to kill thee. And he said to them: Go and tell that fox, Behold, I cast out devils, and do cures today and…
